Re: Adults buying comics - embarrassed?

strangely I found it more embarrassing in my late teens and early 20s buying comics (when I looked a lot younger than my peers and could "get away " with it) than I do now in my errr 40's (and well into my 40's) I don't buy a lot of comics now, and those I do buy I tend to buy in specialist comic sh...

Re: Thomson characters that have appeared in viz

There was Gilbert Ratchet who was a bit like Screwy Driver , and another strip (think it was by the same artist) based on Brassneck but the "brassneck" in question was a bundle of sticks with a bucket for a head carried around in a cart.

Re: What do you hate about collecting comics?

Re: Shop Untouched Since The Sixties

Here's a link (if anyone is interstred) to the Mars Attracks cards of the 1960s (it is also the site of the artist, Norman Saunders that painted the cards) not as good as the civil ward link Steve supplied as it only shows the front of the cards.

Re: Wasted: new Scottish comic feat Alan Grant and Frank Quietly

Has anyone (seen) picked up this comic - I scanned through a copy in Forbidden Planet, and the art looks really nice - but not my personal taste in story - I read it had gotten a really bad press in Scotland due to its focus on drugs?

Re: Shop Untouched Since The Sixties

The subject came around to films and then o...
