D C Thomson free gifts - the 1960's

In the 1960's Thomsons published a total of 6540 individual issues of seventeen different juvenile titles and over 300 of these issues were published with an accompanying free gift.

In 1960 itself ten titles were on Thomson's juvenile publishing roster which between them included 42 free gifts across 528 issues published with two of the titles Topper and Beezer not including any free gifts at all.

Fascinating threads these Ray! I'm wondering if `Any` DCT title will give more free gifts than `Sparky's` 22 separate `gifts` in nine year period!

Beano & Dandy in the 2000's thread when the free gifts in the 00's appears

After 1960 had given us 42 gifts across 528 issues 1961 would follow this with 40 gifts across 540 issues. The roster of ten juvenile titles available in 1960 being increased to eleven, even twelve briefly if one includes the last two issues of Adventure published in January before its merger with Rover. Following Judy the year before the two new titles for the year were the boys picture paper Victor and the nursery title Bimbo.
