I was wondering, as I'm a sad git, what are the most reprinted strips from British comics. In America I would guess Spider-man must be about the most reprinted character. How many times have the first 20-or-so issues been reprinted? In Britain I would have thought Dan Dare, Trigan Empire and perhaps the Beano/Dandy stuff. Has anyone any thoughts on this?

Yeah, your right. The TV Century 21 stuff, too. Thunderbirds has been reprinted a few times, as has Captain Scarlet, Stingray and Joe 90.

Add Doctor Who to the list.

That's interesting. I know about the TV Comic/Countdown stuff reprinted in DR Who Classic Comics and the various reprints of the TV21 Daleks strip. Is there any other mags featuring reprints of the good doc's adventures?

You're right about the early TV Comic/Countdown stuff. The early Doctor Who Weekly stuff has been reprinted in colour by Marvel in the U.S. and more recently in B&W as graphic novels in the U.K.

Janus Stark was also reprinted a lot in Europe (alhough not as much as the previously mentioned names)
