On a normal day there's one stall open all week. There's also a new vinyl/comic shop that's been open only 6 months called atomic - https://atomic.london/

To be honest, the guy who I see on a Thursday is more focussed on his vinyl.......handy for us if he doesn't realise what comics he has though! Not sure on a Wednesday......yet

I think it was just the whizz-bang. But it made me wonder, given the number of whizz-bangs issued over the years, how can you tell it is the Beezer 1 whizz-bang? We're they all different? I have one from around 1970.

It was just the gift, not the comic, but on Ebay in auction. No one else was bidding!

I believe that they're all different. Mine is exactly the same as the ones sold by Phil Shrimpton and Compal. It's different than the others I've seen sold with Topper etc

Really easy. Just remember to add 16% on to whatever you’re bidding on and allow about a tenner for postage.

Well, herself has outdone herself in working with the young one. Father's Day this year has seen me double my Electric Soup collection, so I now have a full run from 2 to 5, 9 and the 10th Anniversary special. I will have them all eventually but for now, I am going to enjoy the Greens, Billy Pope, Spandex Sue and the MacBams!
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Busy weekend!

Marvel Valour - set of 19 - 1980
Marvel Future Tense - 1-19 - 1980
Marvel Forces in Combat - set of 37 - 1980
Avengers #1 - Thorpe & Porter - 1966
Charlie's War Definitive Collection #2 - I really enjoyed #1
School Fun - set of 33 - 1983/4
Commando 194 and I'm negotiating with a chap in Australia to upgrade my collection with quite a few of the early issues hopefully.

2 mixed lot of 50s reprints which I mainly bought to get hold of the two #1s - Annie Oakley No1, Lash LaRue no71, Wyatt Earp No9, Daniel Boone No22, Hopalong Cassidy No66 and Gunsmoke Western No 62, Looney Tunes No1, Popeye No5, Mandrake The Magician No13, Family Favourites No8, Story of the FBI No507, Black Diamond Western No7, The Wonder Horse Black Fury No8 and Flash Gordon No2 (shown in the pictures).

Adventure Series 'Rupert' Comic Book Selection includes No21, No5, No15 and No28 which was added to my winnings above for nothing!

Finally, a random lot of 60's British comics shown here including Smash 1967 (10), 1968 (3), 1969 (8), 1970 (1), 1971 (5), Scorcher & Score 1970 (1), 1971 (3), 1972 (2), 1973 (2), Jet 1971 (6), Thunder 1970 (3), 1971 (4), Valiant 1963 (1), 1966 (1), 1967 (1), 1971 (1), Hurricane 1964 (5), 1965 (5). 62 comics in all for less than £40. I'm really looking forward to going through them!

I also managed to watch most of the football and celebrate Fathers Day...…...very busy weekend!

Picked up 65 issues of Buddy in Covent Garden today, I picked up 62 issues three weeks ago so that's three short of a full run. I already have the first issue which wasn't among these so that's two short. £45 the lot.
