As I had bought a few old comics and I had an hour or so to kill as I waited for herself at the Doctor's, I buried my nose in Rover and Adventure and it was to my delight that the two mature ladies sat next to me began to reminisce about their childhood comics. One remembered that her brother got it and her face lit up, which was a pleasure to see. The other remembered that her older brother got the Eagle and she wasn't allowed to get her sticky paws on it until he had finished reading it!
Girls Crystal, School Friend, Bunty and Mandy all got a honourable mention as well. I think that the next time I have an hour or so to kill, I might just take along a few more to read...

I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!
