The Beano Book Of Britain I'd like to see would be a full reprint of that Bash Street serial from 1968, where the kids and Teacher undertake a walking tour of the whole country, visiting real locations throughout.

I don't know if these have been mentioned but there was:

Steel Commando joined Captain Hurricane's strip in the Valiant and Lion merger.

Speedboy joined Billy's Boots in the Tiger and Speed merger.

Not a permanent merger but Strontium Dog has starred in Judge Dredd (so has Rogue Trooper for that matter).

That last one's more of a shared universe then, like Marvel and DC.

He didn't stick around long either. That was a pretty pointless merger IMO.

Yup though more like a shared multiverse. Similar to the Judge Dredd/Rogue Trooper crossover.

The Steel Commando was soon gone as well.

Does anyone know how long their team-up lasted? And was there any explanation on why they eventually broke up?

Garn! I forgot to add the team up of Alf Tupper and Bernard Briggs when they formed their own country! This featured in the Hornet in 1970/1971 and featured the art of Tony Harding.

I'm going through all my buster seeing if there is any missing centre pages or booklets cut out and Ivor & Tony 1st teamed up with Milly & Penny in the 1st combined issue with Jackpot 6/2/82 when Ivor & Tony found out they were getting new neighbours in the previous issue.this lasted 4 1/2 years until the 20/9/86 issue when Milly announced she was going to an exclusive girls school next term, bankrupting her dad in the process. Then Penny said she also was going to same school having won a free place by passing an exam.So Tony announced at the end it was back to him and Ivor for a while. But the following week the girls were back home for the weekend so 27/9/86 officially the last team up as far as i can see as the next week it was just Ivor and Tony again.I think there may have been sporadic appearances during holidays as the girls were back in the xmas issue 27/12/86 for the christmas hols.the following week it was just Penny as Milly had returned to the school an hour earlier.
edit: next appearances 18/4/87,18/7/87
