Do you think this could mean Beano adverts? Maybe even an adaption of one of their comic strips!

They could use it to advertise any of their titles. Wouldn't be surprised if they use Dennis to advertise the Beano - but it also wouldn't surprise me if they use it to promote their new Dangermouse and Thunderbirds Are Go magazines. We'll have to wait and see.

Maybe not Danger Mouse, seeing as that show will be on CBBC.

So is Dennis and Gnasher. But ITV showing commercials for merchandise based on BBC shows isn't unheard of. DCT have paid their fees, they can use the slots to advertise whatever they want.

From 1 August 10-second sponsorship idents for DC Thomson’s children’s magazine titles will feature on the channel for a 12-month period.

Among the titles to be advertised in the deal is the company’s recently launched ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ magazine.
I hope they advertise The Beano as well.

Recently launched? The series may be out, but the magazine is NOT. We haven't even seen it advertised yet.

Yes, they are. Andy Fanton has posted on Facebook that a Beano advert has been spotted on CITV.

I wonder if Dangermouse is coming to the Beano like Wallace and Grommit did?

I thought he was supposed to get his own title like Thunderbirds did.
