For 1973 you've failed to mention the free gifts given away in Buzz comic, namely-

That being the case I hope you won't mind me listing the free gifts of the other Thomson 1970's fun titles here to compliment your listings of those of the 'fun five' as you've termed them.

Those are fantastic photos Hen! Just superb-thank you for enlightening the thread! Yes-Ray, i'm only concentrating on the `five-fun` titles!

Now! 1975 and Sparky was not giving gifts after 74, and if my data `is` correct- Beezer took a long sojourn after 74 to 1986 I think! , so its perm from three from now on! Just Dandy and Topper gave gifts in 1975

It seems that after these gifts, Topper was `dry` to 1986! Leaving only Dandy & Beano giving a few gifts to decades end! I will do the rest tomorrow!

Thanks for the kind compliment Rab. When I started this I just saw it as an opportunity to add a little footnote to that history but thanks to Hen and his amazing collection it has become considerably more than that and I'm sure Alan would support that view.

Rightyho! and from now (1977 - 79_, only Dandy and Beano gave gifts (Unless I got it wrong!) Seems 1976 was `Fun titles` gift free but I would have thought Beezer might have given some when it `swallowed up` Cracker in Aug 76 - but the newly conjoined titles did not give gifts! Is that a first Ray?
