Comic News Site - Looking for writers

Post by benjawi »

Hi,

My name is Ben and I own and run a UK comic news site that hopefully you may have heard of - http://www.comicbooknews.co.uk. I'm looking for people that would be interested in writing articles, interviews and/or reviews. The site is used to talk about, review and share information and opinions about comics from anywhere and everywhere. At the start of 2017, we decided to start to primarily focus on the UK side of comics and home-grown talent. The standard of the writing and art within the British comic scene has risen and continues to rise, and with Rebellion releasing some classic old school comics for newer readers as well, the standard just gets better and better.

Personally, I do what I can because I love the site, but work takes over a lot of the time. Although it would be a dream job to read and review all day, I like having a place to live and eating that little bit more. Work must always come first, as I'd expect with everyone else working full time (unless you're lucky enough to be that rich that you don't have to work anymore). Hence the need for anyone interested in helping us out. You never know where a review could lead.

Please look through the site and either send me a message through here or through the site if you're interested or would like more information. One of the perks of this role is the free comics and graphics novels that we regularly get sent to review. We want to share the love!

Many thanks,
Ben
