Klakadak You deserve a knighthood for putting this collection out. If I'm not being too nosey was it difficult and long getting permission from the owners of these strip? Who owns the strips now?

Looking forward to it the collection covers are fantastic

Things are in progress, but I'd say two months from now, give or take a week. A lot depends from the date when I can launch the crowdfunding campaign - there are a couple of things I still need to finish before it goes live. I'll try to promote the campaign as much as I can when it starts.

Indeed, it's a busy time for collectors, with all those beauties now being released. Who knows - perhaps DCT (or someone with enough faith and funds to purchase the license from them) will get round to publishing their own collected editions of classic strips that are long overdue :D

Now THAT would be an interesting Crowd Funding excercise if you could get a price!

I'll be honest to say that I have no idea how much these licences cost?? Is it £millions or tens of thousands? I don't have a Scooby regarding the prices that they go for.

Earlier today I did an exclusive interview with Irmantas about this fascinating collection and you can read it on my blog here, which is illustrated with a few extracts from the books:
