CAPTAIN SCARLET: FINAL ISSUE OUT
I didn't buy Captain Scarlet at all, but I'll look out for it in the newsagents today. I know how many fans are going to miss it. Besides Catwoman and Miniature comic, will this be the shortest lived?

Thanks Lew, I looked last week when it was due out, and thought that "Down the tubes" saying it would be out in a couple of months abit odd.

Ben, Thunderbirds comic is still running. The previous series ran to 6 or 8 issues and the one before that had a long run.

I wonder if Ben is referring to the 'Collectors Edition' reprints around 2001/2002... there were only three of those.

I tried ordering this several times at different outlets, only to be told they couldn't get it. No wonder it bombed ! By the way, Lew, thanks for the great Miracleman sketch you did for me at Bristol '05

Not that anyone's reading this thread any more, but for the record I used to write and draw for Zig & Zag's Zogazine and it ran for 5 issues.
Captain Scarlet failed because it was a poor comic whose strips were just screen grabs from a not-major-league TV series. Had the scripts stood alone as quality items they might have attracted a readership.
