Does anyone know the relationship between IPC/Fleetway and the various publishers/imprints who produced 2000AD titles in the 80's. The imprints / publishers I am thinking of are; Eagle Quality SQP Which of these were just imprints and which were individual publishers producing titles under licence from IPC? Regards Earl.

Earl - As far as I am aware Fleetway /IPC used Quality Communications (Dez Skinns company) to pack and distribute their strips (ie 200AD) to a wider audience in the USA (and Canada)- I think Eagle Comics was just a title that Quality used for marketing purposes - Quality Communications are a seperate company (publishers of Comics International, an upcoming book on Underground comics - also the folk that gave us sTARBURST, House of Hammer, WARRIOR etc) - Not 100% sure on the above but its something like that.
