1 page in a couple of days
Re: 1 page in a couple of days
Page sizes in Britain were generally 1 and a half or 2 times bigger than the printed page (there is a technical term for this but as it used to confuse everyone and frighten horses I won't mention it, let's not open THAT can of worms!) However, for quite a few years now, artists have drawn to whatever scale they feel most comfortable with. Nowadays, of course, this is generally up to A3 so as to facillitate scanning and emailling. One of the first jobs I did for The Beano was a Summer Special double-page spread (in the days when the Summer Special was BIG!) that I did at 140 per cent, and hand-coloured! I had to tape two postal tubes together to mail it! Now, I'd do it A5 and email it at 200 dpi (...joking...)

I think an absolute top of the range Ford Cortina in the mid 60's was just over £1000, for contrast
