Merry and Bright artist.....is it Alan Morley

the same guy who drew the magic lollypops from The Beano. Dandy's Keyhole Kate. If so he must have beeen drawing up to the early 50's. When did he start?

It shows his style and humour were ahead of its time. Reading it now its still funny and good. You can see where Reg Parlett was inspired by. Getting food was a popular theme :D Not so much in todays comics....we can just buy it now...no need to steal it :o

Alan Morley's Shaggy Doggy was reprinted on the Dandy's My Top Story page in 1979 as Waggy the Shaggy Doggy
