I don't know if anyone here is able is able to help but artist Paul Crompton, who worked extensively on the World Distributors annuals in the 1970s/1980s, as well as doing other comic work such as 'Red Dwarf', has apparently gone missing.
His close friend and fellow artist Glenn Rix reports he has not responded to calls for some while, and is very concerned for his welfare.
If anyone knows where Paul Crompton may be currently, could they either a/ tell him to contact Glenn Rix to reassure him and/or b/ PM me with details, and I will forward them to Glenn, who I will be interviewing shortly for a project.
Many thanks in advance,
Shaqui

No, Glenn Rix is still concerned that Paul has gone missing.
Re: Paul Crompton - a plea for help
You may be pleased to know I've just received a text from Paul. Have yet to speak to him but it would appear he is alive, if not well!
Re: Paul Crompton - a plea for help
Excellent. I hope he is okey and only needed time for himself.
Re: Paul Crompton - a plea for help
I've just spoken to Paul and he seems in good cheery health!

That's brilliant news! I absolutely adored his work in the Doctor Annuals (so much so that I found out who actually did it when I was 10!)Shaqui wrote:I've just spoken to Paul and he seems in good cheery health!
Glad all's well
