I was looking at Best Of British magazine in Smiths today and saw it had an article on Denis. The Book Gallery has released a limited edition book about him. I then looked at the latest Commandos and saw one story was by him. All four issues are reprints.

Thanks for the heads-up. It's amazing how artists can get forgotten and later revived, so to speak! My article in Illustrators # 2 will shortly be out and you might like Raymond Sheppard another 'forgotten' artist IMHO

Now that I think about it I was speaking to one of the book gallery guys at the last comic fair and they had the book there. Unfortunately I no longer have the space for large books. I knew that Denis had committed suicide with a pistol and the book gallery guy showed me a pulp cover with Dennis on it holding the self same pistol. He must have kept it since the war.
