I've been going through my Whizzer & Chips and found a couple of nice Christmas strips by TB where he has drawn every character from the comic - have fun naming them. Also from the Christmas 1970 issue is the last ever Me and My Shadow where the shadow is permanently rejoined with his owner (was the boy ever given a name - he isnt named in the two strips I have here). I don't have the Terry Bave book so apologies if these images are in the book.

Been going through the rest of my Whizzer and Chips and Me and Mt Shadow is back in the 1972 issues so the above strip wasn't the last. Also found out the boy was called Smudger Smith. I have several Christmas issues of W&C and I notice there are none in the gallery section.

It's a shame to see that Terry seems to have given up on his blog, as there's been nothing posted for months now. Hopefully, he's not ill and merely enjoying a well-earned retirement. Anyone know how well his book sold?
