I have a number of issues of Home Notes and they had a four page Playbox centre section which you would pull out and give to the kids. This predated the Playbox comic. It was later reduced to just a small lone comic strip which was signed by Mabel F Taylor (or just MFT sometimes). As there are so few female artists from the golden age I thought I would show some examples of the strips here. The first couple of scans are from 1914 when it was a four page comic but probably not drawn by Ms Taylor. (There are some initials in the masthead though).
