I'm currently reading issue 2 of ILLUSTRATORS and David Ashford's article on Cecil Doughty reminded me that he did some pages in SPIROU weekly in the years 1980-1982.
The article cites "Call of the wild" (28 uncredited pages in black and white in SPIROU Album + 4, 1982-12-02), but Doughty drew as well a one page series from SPIROU # 2222 (13.11.80) to 2328 (25.11.82).
It was called "Histoire en mille morceaux" and lasted for 46 pages. It was written by Octave Joly, the writer of the famous series "Les belles histoires de l'Oncle Paul".
There were 2 longer installments of 5 and 6 pages in special issues, thought they were credited to Doughty, they are drawn by spanish artists J-L Fernan or Cicuendez...
Here're two scans.
