Those who like the artwork of Francisco Solano Lopez, who drew Galaxus, Kelly's Eye, Raven On The Wing and many, many other British strips, might like to know that his and writer Héctor Germán Oesterheld 1950s classic Argentinian strip The Eternaut has finally seen an English language translation.

More on Lopez at http://www.dandare.info/artists/lopez.htm
The Eternaut can be bought via the usual on line retailers, and hopefully in UK bookshops (well, Waterstone's have it on their website shop anyway).

The Eternaut or L' Eternauta, was a famous long lasting strip and there is also a magazine of the same name. This is great news and I'd encourage all to take a look at the book. Here are a few pages from the Italian translation:-

Lovely stuff.

Was just about to bump the Lopez thread with this news, before I noticed it already had its own thread!
Looking forward to discovering this one.

Ordered my copy through Speedyhen (much better than Amazon!). I've always wanted to see an English language version of this.

I had always known the version by Alberto Breccia and wasn't even aware of it being drawn by Francisco Solano López before him.

Finally got hold of it and read it. One of the best adult sci fi/adventure comics for adults I've ever read, and so great to see Lopez's artwork again.
