I'm saddened to hear of the passing of artist and animator Tony Luke, who died yesterday after a battle with cancer. I didn't know him that well and hadn't seen him for many years but we had kept in touch online in recent times. His bravery in the face of his illness, and his determination to keep creating new artwork, was admired by all in the industry.

John Freeman has written a tribute:

And Steve Holland has written an obituary:

Very sad to hear it and such a wonderful artist. I am a big fan of him and I am a writer focused on career and physical development to spread more issues and tips to develop and works through professional resume writing service. ilm-makers regularly claim that they've been through hell to get their movie made, but Tony Luke means it more than most. A short way into making his first feature, Dominator, 33-year-old Luke learned that he had a rare form of lung cancer, and was told he had less than eight months to live. Fortunately, an experimental surgical procedure saved his life, and enabled him to finish Britain's first computer-animated movie.
