Kevin O'Neill
I see that Kevin has died, there is some uncertainty as to when he passed but one source states 7 November. I have to confess I don't know much about his work as I'm firmly stuck in the 1970s and earlier as regards comics and never bothered with 2000AD but it's sad as he was only 69. I see he was born in South East London as was I and I'd be interested to know where exactly he was born. I'm sure other forum members will mourn his passing.

Re: Kevin O'Neill
Kev's death was reported on November 7th, but it was stated at the time that he actually died the previous week. No actual date has been given as far as I know. He actually worked on several of the IPC humour titles before going to 2000 AD. He started his career as an office boy in the Buster office in 1969, before becoming a colourist and later artist on strips in Whizzer & Chips and Monster Fun, as well as colouring Disney reprints.
