Last night in North London Finchly I went to see Tim Quinn talk about his career and an overview of comic history...very funny as well..

It was a long show from 8pm to 10.40pm with a break in the middle..
good amount of people were there...also Dicky Howett!!

I was given at the end a Doctor Who 25 years book signed by Dicky and Tim to me...also a Blue Moon junior mag...a look and learn type which Tim worked on..

If anyone gets the chance I recommned going to see Tim's talk..it will make you laugh and some surprising things happened in his career...e.g he produced a South Bank show in honour of Marvel and Spider-man...also a Aids comic to raise awareness with big celebrities like Elton John helping..

heres a taste...

I thought Tim and Dicky were top blokes..wished I could've chatted for much longer..
got a bit lost getting there in London..oh well..easy going home..

I'd have said Joe McCaffrey but I could be wrong.

See full versions of my animal drawings at my main website

www.pgcartoons.co.uk

these drawing prints and cards have sold well at craft fairs...its going very well..
I'm tripling the amount of money I made before..I hardly made a profit before..
its as done my moral a lot of good..

It seems people prefer animal drawings cards to my cartoon cards..
I've found a new market..:)

Other than taking down images then resizing my images before uploading on my blog.is there another way...like downloading image to image shack than pasting on the blog...or does that use a lot of memory has well?

thanks for any advice...I know that resizing is an option..

I'm no expert but I don't see the point of over complicating things by using a "middle man" like Imageshack. Why not just upload your images from your computer?

I've mentioned on your blog before that I think the reason you've used up a lot of memory is because your images are far too large. I notice you're still saving them at 96dpi, but 72dpi is good enough. If you use Photoshop save the images at "medium", (setting of 7), not "high" or "maximum".

It's not the visible size that's the problem. It's the pixel size you need to reduce to 72dpi.

What software do you have? In Photoshop, when you "Save As" save it as a 72dpi jpeg a "medium" size. Or if you're resizing, open your image, go to Image > Image Size and change 96 to 72.

If you're using something other than Photoshop or Photoshop Elements there should be something similar on there somewhere.

579099 bytes before

now
467845 bytes...it did load up quicker..

found the percent on image size dropped it to 60%
