Happy New Year Chums!

Post by Lew Stringer »

If all goes to plan, a new blog post should go "live" at one minute past 12 in 2010, looking back at three New Year comics of years ago. Check out my blog tomorrow to see it:

What are you using? If it's old Internet Explorer you'll never see my blog as it's supposed to look. It looks ok in Firefox but I have noticed some problems when I cut n paste Commando info from their Word docs. I don't know why.

Strange how it's just that one post and not in any others I've read, because you're right. I'm using Internet Explorer 8. I just checked in Google Chrome, and sure enough, no issue there. If you copy/pasted from a Commando word doc, that's probably the explanation. That's the only obvious layout difference I've ever seen on your blog (or any in fact, as I assume this can affect all Blogspot blogs).

Happy New Year campers. Thanks for the early morning comic fix Lew, it was appreciated, especially as I was the only one up in the house at 7 this morning!
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Really? Which blogs are those? (Just one or two examples if you could.) I'll try to see what the problem is.

Basically, if you're using Internet Explorer, don't. It's an outdated browser and it never shows Blogger sites properly. Use Firefox or Safari. I've had a note pertaining to that up on my blog for some time now.

Trying to confirm that replying problem, I couldn't even preview.
Your request could not be processed. Please try again.
Turned out to be because I wasn't logged in to my Google Account. It worked just fine once I logged in. And this was with Internet Explorer. It's not the browser. What type of account are you trying to use to reply, Peter?

No. The Bruno strip is by Fred Robinson. Skit, Skat and the Captain is by Basil Reynolds.

Sorry, I thought you meant it was my blog where you couldn't leave comments.

As I've said, one solution for blogger problems is to use a different browser instead of Internet Explorer.

Here's how my blog should look if you're using the right browser (eg: Firefox or Safari):

Does anyone see it differently? (The layout I mean. There's a new blog post up there now.)

Try Firefox as your browser. It costs nothing:
