According to Kev Sutherland, the comic was both ahead of its time and behind its time - there was only ever one issue unfortunately, but what an issue that was...

Brain Damage is an excellent comic, truly - features stuff from Anthony Smith, Borin Van Loon, Charlie Brooker, Clive Walker, Cluff (John Longstaff), Dave Colton, Davy Francis, Doug Cameron, Hunt Emerson, Joe Matthews, John Erasmus, JT Dogg (Malcolm Douglas), Kev Sutherland, Kevin Woodcock, Larry (Terence Parkes), Martin Honeysett, Mike Roberts, Neil Bennet, PJ Polyp, Stevie Best, StiK (Bill Greenhead), Tony Husband, Tony Reeve, Wendy Holdon...

Put out by Galaxy Publications from 1991-1992, Talking Turkey mixed homegrown talent (Hunt Emerson, Graham Higgins, Phil Baber etc) with American underground classics and translations of top-grade European comics, which makes for an interesting mix...
