Nice blog, and "Wrath of the Gods" artwork Phil! I love those "Boys world" covers showing the simple life of the 60s, especially the one with the dog looking at the butcher shop, and the lad eyeing the sweet shop.
My Nan, worked for a lady that owned her own sweet shop, so I can relate to that cover very well, I used to love going in to the shop it was like an Aladdins cave! I remember she used to sell 'soda bottles' with bubbles on the sides, I can not remember the name of them though?
