Pre-code comics

Post by Lew Stringer »

Found this website on the U.S. publisher Zeus Comics, who produced some of the most outrageous comics of the 1950s. Does anyone know if L.Miller or anyone published UK editions of these titles?

Apparently there were a few British copies published by the Arnold Book Company, but almost all of those were seized and destroyed by the police after Parliament passed the Young Persons (Harmful Publications) Act. Ironically the only examples known to survive now reside in the House of Commons Library!
