Cracking stuff, Irmantas. Most of those are new to me. I only have the 1970 issue out of that lot. Thanks for posting those!

My most recent post is about Ken Reid as a boater. I have scanned Ken's letter and illustration that was printed in Practical Boat Owner magazine in 1969. You can find the blogpost here: https://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2017/02/ken- ... 5613314550

In the three most recent posts on my blog I showed 3 pieces of unpublished original artwork by Ken Reid, all being different versions of a crazy bird, drawn as a part of a series with which he hoped to attract the attention of Mad USA in 1969. You can see the last one here: http://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2017/09/third ... s-rex.html

Fantastic!!! I always felt Ken was perfect for Mad!, though maybe he'd have been better off submitting some examples of his goonish humans which would have fitted right in with Don Martin's characters. Offhand I don't remember them going in for weird animals.

In my today‘s post I have included a letter that Ken Reid received from an Odhams employee who seemed to have shared his sense of humour. Any ideas as to who the author may have been? Here‘s the link to the blogpost: http://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2017/10/lette ... -reid.html

For the first time on my blog I have an article by a guest writer and a fellow member of this Forum John Wigmans. We have a shared enthusiasm for Gulliver Guinea-Pig and John’s article covers the origins of this character, best known for his appearances in Playhour nursery comic in 1958 - 1965. You can read part one here: http://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2018/02/the-o ... -part.html

My new blogpost covers all WHOOPEE! pull-outs offered in 1980, most notably the 'How to Draw Comic Strips' booklet by Terry Bave. It is part of a series of posts showcasing every single poster, booklet, etc. that came with the comic though its lifetime (1974 - 1985): http://kazoop.blogspot.com/2020/05/whoo ... -1980.html
