I don't know if many members actually read messages in this category as no one comments but today I'm starting to look back at Christmas comics from the past, kicking off with WHAM! from 1967. Here's a link:

Today's vintage Christmas comic is The Wizard, from 1960, with a great cover by Bill Ritchie...

I'm not sure if anyone's reading these updates here but here's the latest vintage Christmas comic:

https://lewstringer.blogspot.co.uk/2016 ... -1965.html

I'll be posting pages from a different festive comic on my blog every day until Christmas so you know where to look if you're interested. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2017.

It's 50 years since Odhams launched Fantastic. It didn't last long but it's still fondly remembered. Here's my blog post about it that I did yesterday:

I hope that most members of this forum are buying Rok of the Reds? Evoking the old school charm of British adventure comics whilst appealing to modern readers too it's a must buy. My review of the latest issue is here:

It's 30 years today since my first Combat Colin strip appeared in print in Marvel's Action Force. Here's a retrospective I've written:
