Just won four consecutive early issues of School Friend for just over a tenner plus p&p in Phil Shrimpton's current auction. They are 38 : 39: 40 : 41, all from 1951. I want them for their content but as they seem to be in reasonably decent nick that would class as a bonus.

The four issues of School Friend arrived today from Phil Shrimpton, with the inevitable rusty staples, so after tea I will be spending some time over a cup of coffee with the Rivals Of The Alpine School, Jill Crusoe, Maid Marion, Terry Brent and Dilly Dreem - The Lovable Duffer. My birthday date is featured in the School Friend Birthday Club panel in one of the issues, the wrong year though.
