Great Flood of London?

Post by finisterre »

Hi,

I've finally got round to subscribing to CFTC having missed lots of issues lately.

Can somebody tell me which issues had the 'Great Flood of London' in? I'll have to try and get back issues.

Did they reprint the whole series or just some of it?

Thanks.

Hi,
The Great flood of London started in Issue

No.137 for 4 Issues till No.140.

According to the Editor in Issue No.137 he say's

"The great flood of London from the Beano 1960,It's a very long series and a lot of it hasn't aged all that well, Because of that we'll be printing a few selected episodes over the coming months, rather then the whole story.

I saw that there are a couple of pages of a revamped version of The Great Flood Of London printed in the big Beano history coffee table book. They made me think of that Robert Caslisle Flood film that was on a few months ago. Think the telly people are old Beano fans?
