Best of the Beezer

I Recently won an issue of the Best of the Beezer, and when I received this in the mail this morning, I noticed it didn't have an issue number.

Can someone from the forum confirm to me whether this was No. 1 (it has a copyright date of 1988, so I am assuming this was very early in the series.)

I loved Best of Beezer and best of Topper it was at the time the only way to see these old gems...and the Banana Bunch by Leo Baxendale was amazing to see what brilliant posters..
