Last year's code didn't work, so I guess Al didn't do it - so I just set it up instead, here's the code: 839492-208866

Instructions from last year's thread, with the code updated:
Al wrote:Here is what you need to do to join the league.

1: Create your team

2: Click on the Leagues tab

3: Click on the 'Join a league' link

4: Press the 'Private league' radio button --> Next

5: Enter this number 839492-208866 in the Private league code box -->

6: Press the Join Private League button

7: You will now be a member of the Comics UK league.

Not a great start for me. Man United lost against Everton, and I have three United players in my team. And one of the players I selected (Arsenal's Song) has left the Premier League and needs to be replaced. How I managed to do better than the other two teams considering that, I don't know (apparently, I got lucky with the dream team).

I see we got two new players for gameweek 2, including Al.

Gameweek 1 isn't over yet, that's why. For some reason, a midweek game counts, even though it's the second match for those teams (and thus ought to have been in Gameweek 2).

Yes, they run it in seven day periods Saturday-Friday. Some weeks some teams will play twice, other weeks they might not play at all.

Well done everyone who took part. The winner had Gareth Bale on his team, no wonder he won.
