So I went and had a look and found publications containing women in states of undress.

Methinks, that is not it. ;)
Yeah...

It's been pointed out numerous times that the title could be problematic...some folks have googled 'Strip Magazine' and found a lot more than coloured Hookjaw reprints... :o

 Heh, that's the trouble with words with multiple meanings! It's obviously meant to be strip as in comic strip but you have to be careful with search terms since strip also means undress. Tip: when searching in Google, type "Strip magazine" - with the quotes. The majority of results (but not the top one) are for the comic.

Right back when it was first mentioned on here the thread title made me think somebody was looking for some obscure 80's porn comic, actually!

I thought of the Marvel UK comic. It's far from my favourite title. Not really dynamic, like Valiant, Vulcan or Warlord. Still, I have high hopes.

Why on Earth wouldn't he get it in for you? That's disgraceful.

I've seen a sneak preview of issue 1 and it's a wonderful comic. A nice mixture of brand new comic strips, features on comics, and Hook Jaw too! What's not to like?

Every UK comic shop should be supporting this. Shame on those who won't!

Yes, you'll be able to order STRIP Magazine from the full web site when it goes live at http://www.printmediaproductions.com (this currently directs to our blog).

If you'd like a sneak preview of the first issue, check out the link in this post: http://stripcomicmagazineuk.blogspot.co ... eview.html

Ha! The Diamond Previews order code for STRIP 1 is JUL117915. For some reason some stores seem not to have seen this, despite Diamond UK's support for the magazine.

i think strip as in comic strip is a perfect title for a comic although it is a perfect title for the perverts among us
