Wow, was good fun (& collectable) 1982-3
Though short lived [just over a year making it a manageable title by collecting standards], some of the strips lived on for a while longer in Whoopee / Whizzer+Chips / and Buster. Creepy Comix, became one of the top strips; also popular was Family Trees (in colour - unheard of for the time); Boy Boss; Team Mates and Shipwreck School (lots of children marooned on a desert island with their school teacher); Kid Comic - who teamed up with Smiler in Whoopee; Rolf Harris' page; Spare Part Kit (Spy's always wanted his extra strong detachable limbs); KBR (about 'CB' radios with lots of jargon) was another original idea. It's interesting that no-one has put any posts regards it, as the annuals and summer specials continued for 3 or 4 years after the title ended, suggesting someone at IPC loved it.
