I was able to put a name to one I'd been puzzled about myself from Whizzer and Chips for some time, tonight, Andy - the 1971 strip Alfie in Africa's artist - after coming across a panel where the signature got through: SPADARI, so, presumably, César Spadari:

It lasted for the whole run of Monster Fun.
True. The Buster reprints, however missed out a huge chunk of story’s though, as I recall from memory roughly c.40 episodes only, though this is a very rough figure. For all the episodes you'll need all the 73 Monster Fun issues – well worth it though as many of the original humour story's were reprinted throughout the '80s including Mummy's Boy reprints; X-Ray specs reprints (which afterwards reverted to new updated story's); Plus the Buster and Monster Fun holiday specials; plus annuals to 1986. Plus many other comic strips.

I noticed that Lew has recently posted an article on March of the Mighty ones illustrator Ron Turner's – http://lewstringer.blogspot.co.uk/2014/ ... -1997.html :!:

Mike White illustrated March of the Mighty Ones. (Unless there's a Ron Turner instalment in one of the annuals or specials that you're thinking of.)

I did a detailed article about March of the Might Ones on my blog a few months ago as part of my effort to cover every strip in Monster Fun Comic. You can check it out here: http://kazoop.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-lo ... ch-of.html

Thanks klakadak-ploobadoof & Raven – very detailed blog post! Will keep me busy for quite a while :)

Ron Turner took over the artwork in issue 63 and continued drawing the feature till the very end with a special 4 page finale.
