can anyone help me,i have around 30 eagle comics dating from 1980 to 1981. my dear wife wants them out of the house, but i would like to know if they are worth anythiing so i can rub her nose in it and put them in pride of place in the house.

1980-1?! Eagle only began being printed again in 1982.
Assuming you mean the earlier issues, you're probably looking at between 25p-?1 so not really that valuable I'm afraid
Don't throw them away though - either give/sell to a store or a collector, or give them to your local dentist/hospital/doctor etc...or keep them - you'll probably end up trying to buy them all again in 5 years time if you don't
