I have just come across this quiz in Whizzer and Chips, 16 August 1986. Fancy trying it out? I did and found I was a Whizz-Kid.
Are you a Chip-ite or a Whizz-kid?

As a kid in the sixties I remember the bus conductor saying to us "Are you a Mod, Rocker or a Piecost?" we answered "What's a piecost?" "About tenpence halfpenny" replied the conductor - still makes me laugh now.
I read Whizzer & Chips every week but never took sides.

J Edward Oliver always brings back memories of when I used to buy all the music papers in the early seventies. He did a strip in Disc magazine which I worked for as a messenger boy in Fleet Street at the time.
