Tiger

Post by David McDonald »

I have Steve Holland's excellent books on Lion, Valiant. and Hurricane, but there is very little information on Tiger, especially from the sixties, unless I am missing some tome that's out there! I have a near complete run from the early seventies till its finish, not consciously collecting them, they just appeared as ad ons to other comic I collect!

The sixties Tiger seems to have some really interesting strips and in particular Val Venture looks good. Does anyone have any information on the strip, i.e. how long it lasted and who wrote it?
He is an 'International Explorer' in one of the strips I read, but its not clear if he is a PI, Policeman, or just an adventurer.

Cheers,

David

Sadly I don’t, although I have been rummaging through old Tiger copies of the 1960s in particular.

I was especially hoping the Treasury would reprint Olac The Gladiator in particular.
