I must admit, after enjoying the first episode I've found the rest quite disappointing. It feels like a cheap filler, cancelled-after-a-season, tossed out at teatime kind of show, and not the A-list prime-time blockbuster it should be. Still, it shows some promise, and could develop into something much better than it currently is. And, to be honest, I know full well I'll watch every episode no matter what, because (a) it's a Marvel TV series and (b) I'm a fool.

Yes, if it wasn't for the hope of seeing more of a Marvel connection I'd have given up on it now too. Next week's will reference the new Thor movie though. Let's guess: they find an artifact left over which causes them a bit of trouble. Again.

Yeah, I was hoping the first episode, the super-powered black man was eventually going to say "need a new name for my new life. From now I shall be called...the Black Vegetable..."

"no, wait, I have a better idea. Luke Cage. That's it. Luke Cage, Power Man!"

big bad bri wrote:I love the marvel films & am a big fan of most of the american weekly episodic tv series via dvd box sets of course but there is something about this series that i hate, though i don't know what it is yet,it will have to dramatically improve if it is to avoid cancellation, especially now with the news 4 new marvel tv series are to debut courtesy of netflix, lets hope daredevil better than the film.the best bit in the 1st 6 eps was the samuel l jackson cameo
I don't think it's in imminent danger of cancellation. It seems to be doing quite well in the US, by all accounts, even if viewing figures have dropped off over here.

Sure about that? It's been losing viewers in the US too.
