TIME SLIP:INTRODUCTION

Post by jim244 »

Look-in started in 1971 and it's most popular strip initially was "Time Slip".
The strip lasted for the first two years and was based on the television series of the same name.
Simon Randall and Liz Skinner discover a strange phenomenon known as the time barrier that enables themselves to travel in both space and time, visiting the past and possible futures from a field on a disused military base.
The TV series last one series of 26 episodes, divided into 4 chapters.
The comic strip lasted two years, was written by Angus P Allan and drawn initially by Mike Noble and later by uncredited artists.

Today I sorted out my 1971 and 1972 issues of Look-in, I will start reading through these stories and will start posting a strips chronology soon.
Just glancing through mags today,it seems to be a fantastic series.
I have never read it,I started collecting Look-in in 1974.
I just bought these issues when collecting and haven't got round to actually reading them.
I know "Time Slip" as I bought the VHS then the DVD,I was too young to have ever watched it when it was broadcast but I had heard about it,read about it,so had to see it.
It's a really great tv series.
