TV Tops

Post by Shaqui »

I'd like to do an overview of this one day but a lot of the artists are uncredited. I know the Grays (Gordon and the late Maureen) did a lot of stuff, as did Brian Delaney.

Anyone able to name any others, an who the editor was? (Surprised to find the trade directories didn't even name the editors of the DC Thomson titles... ) :o

Here's a cover for this thread as well. By this time most of the original lineup had been replaced by new strips (curiously Buck Rogers appeared in colour in both TV Tops and Look-In!).

I must have bought that issue as well because I had that frog pencil topper. Thanks for the weird flashback to my early eighties pencil case!

This must've been just before my time... I think I first saw Look In in 1984/85 or so; I imagine TV Tops was dead by then?

Interesting that it was running a comic strip based on a post-watershed show...
