Saw this strip in the Sparky comic, was mildly astounded - nay, semi astonished at how adult it was for a children's comic. The innocent bus passengers are turned into skellingtons - you can see their skulls. It looks like it was done by a fan/freelancer. The artwork isn't too professional looking, would DC Thomson have accepted a completed series like that? It was probably deemed not good enough for the boys papers and probably would have been a bit controversial in the Beano, Dandy, Topper or Beezer so Sparky was opted in. Just guessing of course. Anyone know the artist/writer? Did he go on to better things like 2000AD? Or fade from sight.
