Various comic ads from the Weekly News

I used to always cut any comic related ads from the Weekly News just becausr they were there. Here are a few examples. They don't always give the year so have fun trying to identify the issue number:





I would cut out from papers/magazines anything of interest so here is a picture of Columbo's id - as you can see his first name was Frank so no more arguments in pubs:

I think i have the Victor with the free glider! I found a few odd issues (mostly christmas ones) bagged in a charity shop, they are mainly from the 70's and 80's, along with one from the 90's when it went "mostly colour" and was on glossy paper.

The laces one says "new look" so that must be advertising Victor's last relaunch, around 1990.
