Does anyone have a complete listing of the (I gather) 18 issue run of this title from around 1958-59)?
From the internet, I've gleaned so far:
01:
02: Jungle Jim in 'The River Rover'
03: The Lone Ranger
04: Rex Allen in 'Friend Or Foe'
05: Lassie in 'The Guardian'
06:
07: Rin Tin Tin
08:
09:
10:
11:
12:
13:
14:
15: Rex Allen in 'The Tenderfoot'
16:
17:
18: Matt Dillon in 'Showdown'
Plus there were some annuals...
Television Favourites from WDL (World Distributors)
Re: Television Favourites from WDL (World Distributors)
Taking a chance here, because you all probably know this.
While I don't know what the other titles were, there was also Picture Story Pocket Western from WDL which was subtitled, "W.D.L. Television Heroes" and this series was all Dell reprints also.
The Television Favourites ran for 18 issues, I'm almost certain and the series I mention ran for 24 issues. (#21 was Gunlaw.)
Television Picture Stories was an Australian pocket reprinting some Dell titles at least. I have no other details on it.
Probably absolutely no use to you but it's all I have.
Wait a minute, I have found Television Favourites Comic #17 and it's Silver in "Silver goes a-roaming"
This is a 68 page comic, 1 shilling and is standard size, not a pocket, as I had originally assumed.
Sorry I went off on the pocket library trail.
