Issues 2 and 3 - I may also have issue 1 - I had a habit of storing all my first issues together. I wonder how long/short this title lasted?
Here's a comic I'd forgotten existed.

Those comics are a tie-in to the Marvel Action Hour which was airing on the then newly launched Fox Kids Network (it had been on Sky 1 until the week before issue 2 came out, and moved when FKN launched). There's a mistake there though. Sue Richards was known as Invisible Woman in the cartoon, and therefore should've been called that in this comic as well, not Invisible Girl.

No mistake. She was known as The Invisible Girl for many years, and was known as such in the issues that those comics reprinted.Digifiend wrote:Those comics are a tie-in to the Marvel Action Hour which was airing on the then newly launched Fox Kids Network (it had been on Sky 1 until the week before issue 2 came out, and moved when FKN launched). The comic ran for just four issues and ended abruptly due to poor sales.

Considering that it was a cartoon tie-in, IMHO they should have made the names match the cartoon. Other comics have altered character names when strips are reprinted under a different title.
The reason this comic flopped is because it launched far too late. Should've released it when MAH was on terrestrial TV, instead of just reruns which moved channel after the first issue.

I think the reason it flopped was that distribution was terrible and the stories it reprinted were not Marvel's best. I only saw it in one newsagent.Digifiend wrote:The reason this comic flopped is because it launched far too late.
