It always seems a pity that older comics yellow so much so I had a bit of fun using my 'restoration' technique to bring out the best on a couple of Captain Storm's 'Starhawk' covers... what do you think?

'The Crunch' Restored
Very good Shaqui, wished I had the time to do it myself
I experimented myself in the early days when planning the site using Photoshop. However, though it cleaned up the dirt and scratches I found some anomalies.Improving the black or white often led to bleeding, meaning edges around lines became fuzzy. Also, using the clone tool and eyedropper became too tedious and time consuming when trying to remove smudges and yellowing. The only comics I really needed to do this to were my Toby collection because of their bad wear and tear.So I eventually decided on posting them warts and all.I feel this gives them the true aged look.My only remit to the site was to scan them in at a decent resolution, resize them for faster download and crop them in a uniform manner for good display purposes.
