Just a quick note to announce that my exhibition of original comic pages The Art Of Sean Phillips has started at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, Cumbria. It's part of the http://www.comicartfestival.com/ that starts on Friday 18th October. The festival lasts till the Sunday, but my exhibition continues until 10th November. It includes examples of my work from the British comics Judy and 2000AD as well as art from some of the US comics I've drawn over the years.
The festival features comic guests from around the world including John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, Joe Sacco, Posy Simmonds, Charlie Adlard, Ed Brubaker, Bryan Talbot and Simon Thorp from Viz.
My exhibition ties in with the art book of the same name, published next week by Dynamite. It's a 312 hardcover covering my whole career so far...
