Convention weekend

Post by Lew Stringer »

I'm in Cardiff this weekend for the convention. Fellow Beano contributors Nigel Parkinson and Nika Nartova will be here too. So if you're attending, drop by our tables on Saturday or Sunday for a sketch, comic, or just for a chat.

Have a good weekend Lew. I am at the Dunfermline Comic Con this weekend. And it's going to be a hardship as we have Colin MacNeil, Mike Collins and a certain Ian Kennedy as guests.

It's a hard life, but someone's got to do it.

Make sure you have a ticket as Dunfermline is a sell out.

However, I believe that Ian might be going to another event next month. I'll just have to deal with working that event and waving to him as he comes in.

And I've just come back from the new Oxford ComicCon - large and in a posh venue, lots of stalls! Andrew Wildman was there, and Rebellion/2000AD too.

Had a blast at Dunfermline. Took the mickey out of John Ferguson for the first signs of senile dementia when he forgot the wife's name. Enjoyed catching up with everyone. Plus spent a lot of time with Mr Kennedy so it was a well spent few hours.
