Yep, not a bad idea this one. I'm just thinking of the best why to upload the images to the site.
I certainly don't mind receiving the covers via an email and uploading them myself, as long as they are already the correct size (i.e. 1200 pixels high - if you want to read them). I will not sit there and resize a few hundred images .
The alternative is to allow Comics UK members to have the ability to upload images and just hope that spammers don't get wind of it. There's been a few attacks already. The problem with this idea is as I've already stated on the new Artist database thread, all the Member information is in a MySQL database, and I've never written any code to access these databases before. I've bought a MySQL book and have started reading it. Because I already use SQL and Access databases, I'm hoping that learning about MySQL database will not be too difficult. Watch this space
